For Trios;  Melody, Harmony 1 and Bass or Harmony 2 parts are needed. Harmony 2 and Bass parts are octave doubled throughout.For Quartets and larger groups;  add Harmony 2 and more melody parts. Try to keep a balance between Melody, Harmony and Bass.
